Program

The guided tour starts from one of the highest points of Florence, Piazzale Michelangelo, where your eyes are free to gaze over the entire city and the green hills surrounding it: from the green-copper domes of the Jewish Synagogue to Giotto’s Bell Tower, from the Duomo to the church of Santa Croce, from the Ponte Vecchio to the ancient ramparts of the medieval walls which, going up the hill, reach the imposing Forte Belvedere. This wonderful sight of unique views and panoramas does not end here but continues along the path that leads us to Monte alla Croci, the hill dominated by the splendid and ancient basilica of San Miniato al Monte, a marble and green stone chest housing extraordinary masterpieces. After visiting the church we will head towards the picturesque district of San Niccolò walking through the Giardino delle Rose, a harmonious rose garden filled with flower beds and walkways, home of over 1000 botanical varieties, including 370 varieties of ancient roses, a real flowery curtain framing one of the most beautiful views of the city.
